At a Vermont town clerk's office. If you live in Vermont, you need to go to the clerk's office in the town where you live. Out of staters may go to any town clerk's office.

Any of the following valid forms of identification:

  • Passport

  • Driver's License

  • Birth Certificate

WHAT IF I WAS MARRIED BEFORE?

If your marriage ended because of divorce, You will need to know the date your divorce was finalized.

If you your spouse died, you will need a copy of their death certificate. 

WHAT NEXT?

You give the marriage license to me and I file it with the state of Vermont after your ceremony.​ If you want a copy, you need to request one be sent to you at the time you purchase your license.
