WEDDING VOWS

Justice of the Peace Carmen George

Your vows are the most important statements made during your wedding ceremony. They are your declaration of what you are promising to your new spouse and what your marriage means to the two of you.

You can discuss your vows in private and give the public version of them during your ceremony. If you don't feel comfortable sharing your most intimate agreement you can share an abbreviated version at your ceremony. If you choose to write your own vows, I recommend printing  or writing them out on paper and reading them to each other.

For folks not interested in writing their own vows, I have good repeat after me vows you can use. They are short and sweet.

MY VOWS

I would be honored to call you my wife/husband

You are my best friend

and the love of my life.

I will be by your side

in good and bad times

I promise to love and care for you,

all the days of my life.

These are photos I took during ceremony as couples exchanged their vows. It's the best part of the wedding!
