LESBIAN, BISEXUAL, GAY, TRANSGENDER, AND QUEER (LBGTQA) RIGHTS

Officiant and Ally Carmen George (She/Her)

If you missed it.

Vermont’s Marriage Equality Act became law on Sept 1 2009 making Vermont the first state to legalize same gender marriage through legislation instead of court ruling.

Federal Protection of Same Gender Marriage
U.S. Supreme Court made same-gender or same-sex marriage legal in all fifty states on June 26, 2015. It is illegal to deny legal marriage services to couples based on their gender identity.

Yeah!

IT'S YOUR DAY!

PRONOUNS

Please let me know which pronoun you use. (He/Him, She/Her, Ze or They)

DESIGN FLOWERS TO FIT YOU

For people who don't want a corsage, bouquet or boutonniere I offer a boutonsage. It is a cross between a corsage and a boutonniere.

Men can have bouquets or lays.

WEDDING PARTY

Instead of Maid of Honor or Best Man. These terms are fine, however I can use the term Person of Honor to keep it gender neutral.

THE KISS

I do not say you may kiss the bride. I say "You may begin the celebration of your marriage with a kiss!" unless me saying "Kiss the bride is something you would like me to say."

SHARE THE LOVE

After your wedding consider donating leftover flowers, food and party items to the two below organizations:
